Byrom-Davey, Inc. was started in 2001 when Steve Davey contacted Joe Byrom who was working with Roel Construction as a consultant at the time, to see if he would be interested in joining him in beginning a new company. Both men worked well together at a former construction firm L.R. Hubbard Construction. After several meetings they started Byrom-Davey, Inc. with the concept of focusing on sports facilities only.
Through out the years Byrom-Davey, Inc. experienced a number of turf and all-weather track companies and their products competing to implement their technologies and latest creations. We narrowed down our selection of companies and sub-contractors so that we would work to establish a team that could go project to project providing consistent and great service.
Steve and Joe stayed diligent to manage their company within reasonable and equitable means. Keeping overhead low, but efficient, properly bidding projects, controlling field operations per compliances, finding new project delivery methods, working completely with design and construction partners for constructability, maximizing value and cost engineering options.
Joe Byrom passed away in the Summer of 2007 during a valiant battle with cancer. Today, we still work within the values he found with Steve Davey and all work hard to keep and champion for our company members. |
