Monitor & Control: Team meetings on site, general superintendent oversight and supervision from administrative management team will be the key to our project approach and operations. We will have our best team assigned to the job to make sure the project flows within time, scope and budget.
Communication with the Owner: Byrom-Davey, Inc. will use their single source of contact to communicate with the Owner and its representatives in order to facilitate direct lines of understanding, updates and direction.
Design the Project: The team will meet and provide a constructability review, value engineering efforts review and construction implementation plans. The Architect/Engineers will prepare plans and specifications for the precise program and scope of work.
Control the Budget & Schedule: In order to reduce or eliminate change orders we would recommend a period to have a constructability review with the design and construction and administrative team. Questions and answers from these sessions could eliminate lack of coordination, lack of detailing and enhance the team’s understanding of direction and agreement of the construction process. Ongoing progress meetings weekly, along with communication throughout the days of the week will be required.
Maintain traffic patterns: We cordoned off areas of school activities that are required for normal pedestrian and vehicular flow with temp fencing, barriers and if needed, flaggers.
Perform construction administration: Our team will manage RFI's, CO's, and Directives etc. within typical 24 hours or less. Due to project timelines, we try to immediately process within the business day.
Perform Quality Assurance: Byrom-Davey, Inc. holds safety and security meetings each week, along with reviewing our safety manual and protocols with the job superintendent. We have our "A" team on each discipline of construction areas and installation. Our Project Management team will be present on the site each day of construction.
Administer a Safety Program: For project safety we conduct weekly safety meetings with on-site personnel using the Byrom-Davey, Inc. injury and illness and prevention program manuals. In addition, our site superintendent as the safety officer browses the site several times a day for infractions and compliance.
Testing the Turf: Fieldturf & Byrom-Davey, Inc. will test the turf for compliance with specifications and performance.
Perform punch list and warranty work: Byrom-Davey, Inc. will perform a punch list and provide warranty work once the project is complete. In addition, training and more information regarding the new facilities will be accommodated after the project is complete.
